COESAM Organic Sea buckthorn capsules is produced by hot air drying of ripened sea buckthorn (Hippophaë rhamnoides). Sea buckthorn is often called as the “lemon of the North” due to its high content of vitamin C. This fruit boosts the immune system and promotes the body´s efficiency especially in times of elevated physical activity as it contains a natural source of vitamins, such as pro-vitamin A and vitamin, and high levels of antioxidants. Minerals, flavonoids and unsaturated fatty acids such as omega-7, support the gastrointestinal bowel function. This oleaginous fruit can be succesfully grinded to a fine raw food quality powder due to a special technique without the use of maltodextrin.
